Kaveh Nariman works as a forensic pathologist, a man whose strict principles define both his professional and private life. After a nighttime road accident in Tehran involving a motorcycle, he treats a young boy's minor head wound and urges the father, Moosa, to take the child to a hospital, offering money to cover the costs. When the boy later arrives at the morgue as a body, Nariman recognizes him and comes to believe he may bear responsibility for the death, a suspicion he keeps from everyone around him. His colleague Sayeh reaches a different conclusion, attributing the death to food poisoning, which throws suspicion onto Moosa. As Nariman searches for the truth, the boy's mother Leila turns her grief into accusations against her husband, and the two men's paths converge around a death whose cause no one can agree on.
Vahid Jalilvand directed the film, his second feature following Wednesday, May 9 (2015), and wrote the screenplay with Ali Zarnegar. Navid Mohammadzadeh plays Moosa and Amir Aghaei plays Kaveh Nariman, with Hedie Tehrani, Zakiyeh Behbahani, Saeed Dakh and Alireza Ostadi in supporting roles; Ehsan Alikhani and Ali Jalilvand produced.
The film runs 100 minutes and was released in 2017. On IMDb it holds a rating of 7.2 from roughly 7,500 votes, while on TMDB it stands at 6.8 from about 140 votes. The much larger IMDb sample reflects a warmer reception than the smaller TMDB group.
