Aaron Milton is a seventeen-year-old freshman at an Ivy League college who finds himself in a complicated romantic situation. He falls for Linda, a thirty-four-year-old former rebel returning to school to reorganize her life. The dynamic becomes a dysfunctional triangle when Linda's fourteen-year-old daughter, Beth, develops her own feelings for Aaron. As the three navigate these conflicting emotions, Aaron discovers that personal relationships are more complex than his academic studies.
