• In two instances, Millie Bobby Brown offers working children five pounds sterling for their clothes. In 1880, a typical worker earned 3 shillings and 9 pence per week (that is, 9 pounds and 15 shillings per year). In other words, Enola Holmes is offering the children half a year's salary.
• Millie Bobby Brown and her sister Paige Brown approached Nancy Springer (who participated in the project as a screenwriter) with a proposal to independently film a movie and star in it. When Millie Bobby Brown was filming with Michael Dougherty in the sci-fi action film 'Godzilla 2: King of the Monsters' (2019), Legendary Entertainment offered to finance 'Enola Holmes.' For her work on 'Enola Holmes,' Millie Bobby Brown received $6 million as an actress and another $500,000 as a producer.
