Short description
A successful artist loses control of his life after his young daughter's death. A chance for a new start appears, but all is not what it seems.
What's left behind the scenes
- Mads Mikkelsen delivered his lines in German. His partners understood him, but it was noticeable that it wasn't his native language, so he had to be dubbed. The DVD and Blu-ray versions include an additional track featuring Mikkelsen's own voice.
- The film was intentionally shot without being tied to any specific city or country, so the action could take place in any European city. Outdoor scenes, for example, were filmed in Potsdam, Germany. The lack of a specific country can be identified by the fact that the license plates are not in a format used anywhere in the EU, the police uniforms are simply black, and there are no markings on the police cars at all.
