Kase-san and Morning Glories

Yui Yamada is a reserved and awkward student who finds peace tending to the flowers in her school garden. Her life changes when she becomes attracted to Tomoka Kase, a popular and energetic star of the track team. Despite their contrasting personalities and interests, the two girls enter into a romantic relationship and must navigate the challenges of their first love together.

This Japanese animated romance was produced by ZEXCS and directed by Takuya Sato, who also wrote the screenplay. This project followed his 2017 film Your Light: Kase-san and Morning Glories and preceded Fragtime in 2019 and Happy-Go-Lucky Days in 2020. The voice cast features Ayane Sakura as Tomoka Kase and Minami Takahashi as Yui Yamada, with additional roles provided by Yumi Uchiyama, Minako Kotobuki, Ibuki Kido, and Masumi Asano.
