Paddington in Peru

Paddington in Peru follows the bear's journey back to his homeland with the Brown family, who travel from London to visit Aunt Lucy at the Home for Retired Bears. Their reunion plans are disrupted when a mystery sends them away from the retirement home and into the Amazon rainforest and the mountains of Peru, with a new character named Hunter Cabot featuring in the adventure.

Dougal Wilson directs the film, his first feature, working from a screenplay by James Lamont, Mark Burton and Jon Foster. Ben Whishaw returns as the voice of Paddington, alongside Hugh Bonneville as Henry Brown and Emily Mortimer, who joins the series as Mary Brown. Samuel Joslin and Madeleine Harris play the Brown children, and Antonio Banderas appears as Hunter Cabot. David Heyman, Rosie Alison and Claudia Roca Bravo produce the British, French and Japanese co-production, made on a budget of 90 million dollars and earning 211 million dollars worldwide. The film runs 106 minutes.

On IMDb it holds a rating of 6.6 from around 34,000 votes, while on TMDB it has a 6.8 from 751 votes. A critics' rating of 7 out of 10 from 194 reviews places it slightly above the audience scores.
