Battle of Jangsari

Set during the Korean War in September 1950, this historical drama focuses on a diversionary mission supporting General MacArthur's Incheon Landing Operation. To distract enemy forces, 772 young South Korean students with minimal military training are deployed to Jangsari Beach. Facing severe shortages of supplies and weaponry, these inexperienced recruits must endure a perilous assault. Simultaneously, an American war correspondent attempts to bring attention to the dire situation of these soldiers.

Directed by Kwak Kyung-taek and Kim Tae-hun, this film followed Kwak Kyung-taek's previous works including Doctor K, Friend, and Friend: The Great Legacy. The cast is led by Kim Myung-min as Captain Lee Myeong-jun, alongside Minho, Kim Sung-cheol, Kim In-kwon, Kwak Si-yang, and Lee Jae-wook. This production is a sequel to the 2016 film Operation Chromite.
