Baghead

A group of aspiring filmmakers retreats to a remote cabin in the woods to write and produce a project that will launch their careers. They develop a horror concept centered on a killer who wears a bag over his head. However, the situation turns dangerous when a figure matching that description begins to appear in their reality, causing tension to rise among the friends.

This 2008 United States production was co-directed by Jay Duplass and Mark Duplass, who also wrote the screenplay. For both directors, this was the first film in a chronological series of works that included Cyrus (2010) and Jeff, Who Lives at Home (2012). Jay Duplass later directed The Baltimorons (2025) and See You When I See You (2026). The cast features Ross Partridge, Elise Muller, Greta Gerwig, and Steve Zissis.
