Short description

Set in the near future, this science fiction film examines themes of death, loneliness, and the purpose of existence. The plot follows several disconnected individuals whose lives intersect through a series of linked short stories. In a world where technology has largely replaced human interaction, a massive cosmic storm causes electronics across Earth to fail. Amidst this chaos, an astronaut named David becomes separated from his ship during a routine check of a weather station, leaving him to drift through space while reflecting on his past mistakes.

The movie was directed by Agata Alexander, who also co-wrote the screenplay alongside Jason Kaye and Rob Michaelson. The ensemble cast features Thomas Jane as David, Patrick Schwarzenegger as Ben, and James D'Arcy as the Voice of God, with additional roles played by Tomasz Kot, Toni Garrn, and Rupert Everett. Produced by companies including Particular Crowd, The Exchange, Anova Pictures, and Studio MAO, the film is a joint production between Canada, Poland, and the United States.

Upon its release, the film received a lukewarm response from audiences. It holds a rating of 4.6/10 on IMDb based on 6,500 votes and a 4.8/10 on TMDB from 138 votes.
