Pati Patni Aur Woh

Chintu Tyagi is a middle-class man working a government job who wants a promotion and a better life for his family. He marries Vedika Tripathi, a physics teacher, in an arranged match. Before long, the routine of married life leaves him restless, and he becomes drawn to Tapasya Singh, a young woman who comes to his office as a client, leaving him caught between his wife and the other woman in his life.

Pati Patni Aur Woh is a 2019 Hindi comedy-romance directed by Mudassar Aziz, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Jasmeet K Reen. It is the first of the four films Aziz directed to date, ahead of Khel Khel Mein, Mere Husband Ki Biwi and Pati Patni Aur Woh Do. Kartik Aaryan plays the title character, known as Chintu, with Bhumi Pednekar as his wife and Ananya Panday as the woman he meets. Aparshakti Khurana appears as his friend, and Rajesh Sharma and Geeta Agrawal Sharma play his in-laws. The production was handled by T-Series and B.R. Studios, with Bhushan Kumar, Renu Ravi Chopra and Krishan Kumar producing.

On IMDb the film holds a rating of 5.8 from around 9,100 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 6.1 from a much smaller base of about 51 votes. Both figures point to a middling response from viewers rather than strong enthusiasm, and the wider spread of votes on IMDb gives that picture more weight than the TMDB sample does.
