BECK

Yukio is an ordinary high school student who struggles with bullies until he meets Ryusuke, a talented guitarist. Together with Taira, Chiba, and Saku, they form a rock band called BECK. As the group gains popularity and explores self-expression through music, the members must deal with challenges arising from Ryusuke's past.

Directed by Yukihiko Tsutsumi, this Japanese drama and music film followed 20th Century Boys: Beginning of the End in the director's career. The screenplay was written by Tetsuya Oishi.
