Set on the South Side of Chicago, this music drama follows the relationship between a talented young hip-hop artist and a former music manager who has fallen from grace. The teenager struggles with agoraphobia and personal trauma, while the older man seeks a second chance at professional success. Bound by their shared passion for music, the two form an unlikely friendship as they work together to enter the local rap scene and overcome the psychological burdens of their pasts.
