The Bravest

Inspired by real events, this action drama follows a team of firefighters fighting a massive blaze at an oil refinery in Dalian. The story focuses on Jiang Liwei, a former special battalion leader who was demoted to a small suburban unit after a gas explosion caused a colleague's death. When a pipeline explosion at the Bingang port triggers a fire that threatens nearby chemical stores and oil tanks, Liwei must set aside his grievances. He joins forces with his successor, Ma Weiguo, to prevent a chain reaction of explosions that could destroy the surrounding region and endanger millions of residents.

Directed by Tony Chan, who also co-wrote the screenplay, the film features a cast including Huang Xiaoming, Du Jiang, Tan Zhuo, Yang Zi, Ou Hao, and Jason Koo.
