Jane Claremont is preparing to marry Hugh Morrison, a successful stage and television actor, when a man named Michael enters her life claiming to be the imaginary friend she had as a child. Jane, who works for her mother Vivian's theatre, initially refuses to believe him, and the two grow closer as he tries to reconnect with her. His reappearance leaves her questioning her feelings about the wedding ahead of her.
This is a television romance drama directed by Mark Piznarski, with a screenplay credited to Jennifer Heath, Heather Maidat and Nancey Silvers. Alyssa Milano, who also produced, plays Jane, while Eric Winter appears as Michael. Stockard Channing plays Vivian, Ivan Sergei plays Hugh, Emily Alyn Lind plays the young Jane, and Kristin Booth is among the 29 credited cast members in supporting roles.
Released in December 2010, the film runs 88 minutes and was made for television in the United States by Sony Pictures Television Studios, Lifetime and Dan Wigutow Productions. It has drawn modest but consistent responses from viewers, sitting at 6.5 out of 10 on IMDb from roughly 4,700 votes and the same average on TMDB from about 100 votes, figures that suggest a small, steady audience rather than a broad one.
