Falling Inn Love

Gabriela Diaz is a San Francisco design professional whose life unravels when she loses both her job and her relationship in quick succession. On impulse, she enters a contest called "Win an Inn" and is surprised to win a rural property in New Zealand. She travels there expecting to fix up the place and sell it quickly, but Bellbird Valley Farm has been neglected for years. To carry out the renovation she hires Jake Taylor, a local contractor and volunteer firefighter who is amused by her big-city manner. As the work proceeds, she gets to know him and the surrounding community better, and her plan to sell begins to shift.

Roger Kumble directed the film, which sits between Furry Vengeance (2010) and After We Collided (2020) in the chronological list of his features. It was written by Hilary Galanoy and Elizabeth Hackett, produced by Robyn Snyder and Melanie Turner, and made by MarVista Entertainment. Christina Milian plays Gabriela, with Adam Demos as Jake. Supporting roles include Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman, Anna Jullienne, Claire Chitham and Blair Strang.

Released on August 29, 2019, the romantic comedy runs 98 minutes. It received a 5.7 rating on IMDb from around 24,000 votes and a 6.5 rating on TMDB from just over 1,200 votes.
