Jackass Forever

Jackass Forever brings the crew behind the long-running stunt series back together for another collection of physical comedy and risky pranks. Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Dave England, Jason "Wee Man" Acuña and Ehren McGhehey appear as themselves, joined by newer participants, as the group stages stunts built around pain, absurdity and the willingness to keep going. The film follows the same format the series established: a loosely connected run of set pieces in which the performers subject themselves and each other to increasingly uncomfortable challenges.

Jeff Tremaine directed, continuing a run that began with Jackass: The Movie in 2002 and includes Jackass Number Two, Jackass 3D and the Bad Grandpa films, with The Dirt arriving in 2019. Spike Jonze, Knoxville and Tremaine wrote and produced. The credited cast runs to 51 people and the crew to 66, reflecting the collaborative, ensemble nature of the production.

Made for about 10 million dollars, the film took roughly 81 million dollars worldwide, a strong return on a modest budget. It has a rating of 6.8 out of 10 on IMDb from around 55,000 votes and 6.8 out of 10 on TMDB from roughly 983 votes. A critics' rating of 7 out of 10 from 172 reviews places it slightly above the audience scores, which are closely aligned with each other. Jackass 4.5 followed later in 2022.
