Jackass 3.5

Jackass 3.5 is a comedy documentary assembled from footage shot during the making of Jackass 3D that did not appear in that film. Johnny Knoxville and the rest of the crew return for another round of stunts, pranks and painful experiments, alongside outtakes and behind-the-scenes material from the production. Among the segments are a face-off between Steve-O and a snapping turtle, a gag involving Chris Pontius and a woodpecker, and a limbo game with an electrical charge, while cast and crew also appear in interviews about life on set.

Jeff Tremaine directed, continuing a run of Jackass films that began with Jackass: The Movie in 2002 and continued through Jackass Number Two, Jackass 2.5 and Jackass 3D; this entry arrived in 2011, between Jackass 3D and Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa. Spike Jonze, Knoxville and Tremaine share screenplay and producing credits. The credited cast of 24 is led by Knoxville, Ryan Dunn, Dave England, Preston Lacy, Bam Margera and Ehren McGhehey, all appearing as themselves.

Released on 1 April 2011, the film runs 85 minutes. It holds a 6.6 rating on IMDb from around 25,000 votes and a 6.4 on TMDB from just over 700, a narrower and warmer audience response than the larger sample on IMDb suggests.
