Mugi and Kinu are university students who meet by chance after both miss the final train of the night. They discover a deep connection through shared interests in cinema and music, which evolves into a romantic relationship. After completing their studies, the couple moves in together and manages their lives through part-time work. However, as they transition into more stable employment, the changing pace of their daily routines begins to strain their bond over the course of five years.
