Never Back Down 2: The Beatdown

Four students from various backgrounds and fighting styles gather at a college to train for an underground mixed martial arts tournament. Under the guidance of Case Walker, a former championship fighter, the men learn advanced techniques to compete in an event called Beatdown. As they prepare for the final showdown against one another, the group must also deal with a traitor in their circle and a conflict involving corrupt police officers.

Directed by Michael Jai White, this film was the first of four features he directed, followed by Never Back Down: No Surrender, Outlaw Johnny Black, and Trouble Man. The cast includes Michael Jai White as Case Walker, along with Gralen Bryant Banks, Alex Meraz, Stacey Asaro, Rus Blackwell, and Beau Brasso, with a total of 21 credited cast members. The screenplay was written by Chris Hauty and produced by Stage 6 Films in the United States.
