Flaming Brothers

Two brothers raised on the streets of Macau are linked by a shared code of honor. While one attempts to leave their violent lifestyle behind for a peaceful existence, the other remains involved in criminal activities. Their paths cross again when the brother still living in the shadows faces dangerous threats, forcing them back together into a brutal conflict as they struggle to escape a world of violence.

Directed by Joe Cheung Tung-cho, this 1987 action crime film was the first of two listed works by the director, followed by The Banquet in 1991. The screenplay was written by Wong Kar-wai. The movie stars Alan Tang, Jenny Tseng, and Chow Yun-fat, featuring a credited cast of 48 actors. Produced in Hong Kong by In-Gear Film Production Co. Ltd., the film had a worldwide box office return of 2 million USD.
