Parasite in Love

Kengo Kosaka is a lonely man whose extreme fear of germs makes it difficult for him to form relationships with others. Similarly, a high school student named Hijiri Sanagi struggles with a phobia that leads her to avoid attending school. Although neither believes they will find a partner, the two meet and develop a romantic connection as they support each other in their attempts to integrate into society. Based on a novel by Sugaru Miaki, the story examines their bond despite the psychological burdens they carry.

Directed by Kensaku Kakimoto, this Japanese drama and romance was produced by KADOKAWA. The film features Kento Hayashi in the role of Kosaka Kengo and Nana Komatsu as Sanagi Hijiri, with Arata Iura and Ryo Ishibashi also appearing in the cast. The screenplay was written by Yukiko Yamamuro.
