Jack and Jill

Jack Sadelstein has a successful career in advertising, a home in Los Angeles, a wife and two children, and one recurring problem: the annual Thanksgiving visit from his twin sister Jill. Her neediness and passive-aggressive behavior disrupt his household, and what should be a short stay drags on far longer than planned. Meanwhile, Jack is trying to persuade Al Pacino to appear in a coffee commercial. The siblings' conflict grows as Jill settles in and shows no sign of leaving.

Dennis Dugan directed the film, the twelfth of the fourteen features he directed in chronological order, arriving between Just Go with It and Grown Ups 2. Adam Sandler plays both twins and co-wrote the screenplay with Steve Koren; Sandler also produced alongside Todd Garner and Jack Giarraputo. The cast includes Al Pacino as a version of himself, Katie Holmes, Elodie Tougne, Rohan Chand and Eugenio Derbez, among a large credited company of 149 cast members and 109 crew.
