What's left behind the scenes
- The film's cast includes many actors who appeared in the crime drama 'City of God' (Fernando Meirelles and Kátia Lund, 2002). Because of this, viewers—especially in Latin American countries other than Brazil—came to the film believing it was a sequel. Furthermore, the film's promotional campaign actually claimed at one point that it was a continuation.
