Metal Tornado

Metal Tornado follows the Helios Project, a high-tech facility designed to convert solar rays into a limitless source of renewable energy. During the testing phase of the system, a malfunction triggers the creation of powerful magnetic vortices. These tornados sweep across the land, absorbing all metal objects in their path and destroying everything they touch. Astrophysicists Michael Edwards and Rebecca Adler work to understand the nature of this phenomenon and find a way to stop the devastation.

This Canadian action thriller was directed by Gordon Yang and written by Jason Bourque and Andrew C. Erin. The film stars Lou Diamond Phillips as Michael Edwards and Nicole de Boer as Rebecca, with a supporting cast that includes Greg Evigan, Stephen MacDonald, Frank Schorpion, and Sophie Gendron.
