Through My Window is a Spanish romantic drama about Raquel, a young woman who has been drawn to Ares, her attractive and mysterious next-door neighbor, for a long time. The two have never spoken, and she watches him from a distance while nursing a longstanding crush. Her feelings eventually become mutual, but his family disapproves of the relationship, leaving the pair to navigate the tension between their growing connection and the opposition around them.
The film was directed by Marçal Forés, working from a screenplay by Eduard Sola, and produced by Adrián Guerra and Núria Valls for Nostromo Pictures. It is the second feature Forés directed, following Everlasting Love, and it launched a series that continued with Through My Window: Across the Sea and Through My Window 3: Looking at You. Clara Galle plays Raquel, with Julio Peña as Ares Hidalgo, supported by Guillermo Lasheras, Natalia Azahara, Hugo Arbues and Eric Masip among a credited cast of 31.
Released on 4 February 2022 and running 112 minutes, the film mixes comedy and drama within its romance. Reception split sharply by audience: on IMDb it holds 5.5 out of 10 from around 25,000 votes, while on TMDB it stands at 7.3 out of 10 from a much smaller base of roughly 3,400 voters.
