Seriously Red

Raylene "Red" Delaney walks away from her real estate job to pursue a life in the spotlight as a Dolly Parton impersonator. Her ambition takes her into the world of tribute acts, where she meets EP, an Elvis impersonator, and Wilson, a booking agent who pushes her toward the top tier of the business. There she becomes the stage and romantic partner of the country's leading Kenny Rogers impersonator. As the life she chased starts to feel false, Red has to work out who she is away from the wigs and costumes.

Gracie Otto directed Seriously Red, which was released in November 2022 and runs 98 minutes. Krew Boylan wrote the screenplay and stars as Red, with Daniel Webber as Kenny, Celeste Barber as Teeth, Thomas Campbell as Francis, Jean Kittson as Viv, and Bobby Cannavale as Wilson and Neil Diamond. It is an Australian and American co-production from Screen Australia, Filmology Finance, Robyn Kershaw Productions and The Dollhouse Pictures, with Gary Hamilton, Robyn Kershaw and Michelle Krumm producing.
