Short description
Special agent Carl Hamilton infiltrates a mafia organization involved in the smuggling of advanced Swedish GPS-guided weaponry. During a transaction, a group of heavily armed mercenaries attacks the operation, killing everyone except Hamilton and stealing the missiles. As Hamilton tracks these attackers across the globe to recover the weapons, he becomes involved in a mission to rescue a Swedish technician imprisoned in Somalia. Throughout his investigation, he discovers a conspiracy involving government officials and the arms industry that may lead to terror attacks on Swedish soil.
The action thriller was directed by Kathrine Windfeld, following her 2009 film The Escape. The movie features Mikael Persbrandt in the lead role, with a supporting cast that includes Saba Mubarak, Jason Flemyng, Pernilla August, Gustaf Hammarsten, and Ray Fearon. Produced by TV4 and Pampas Produktion, the film had a budget of 7 million USD and earned 8 million USD at the worldwide box office. On TMDB, the movie holds a rating of 6.1/10 based on 138 votes.
