What's left behind the scenes
- Work on the film began under the direction of Overture Films. Later, Relativity Media took over the film, and a few months after that, Relativity Media bought Overture Films.
- George Clooney turned down a cameo role as himself in a scene where he would have been shown awkwardly hitting on women.
- Colin Farrell could have played the role of the leprechaun.
- Trey Parker and Matt Stone could have been involved in directing the film, but they declined.
- Anton Yelchin was originally in an episode directed by Bob Odenkirk. He played the role of a necrophile. But after extremely negative feedback at a test screening, Yelchin left the project.
- The credits state that Bob Odenkirk directed two segments, but these scenes are not present in the American release.
