Love Never Dies

A decade after the events in Paris, the Phantom has relocated to New York City, settling in the carnival atmosphere of Coney Island. While he has found a new venue for his musical ambitions, he remains longing for Christine Daaé. To reclaim her affection, he tricks Christine, her husband Raoul, and their young son Gustave into leaving Manhattan for the spectacle of the island, where the family faces an uncertain fate.

Directed by Brett Sullivan, this production was the first of five filmed musicals in his career, followed by Newsies and several other stage adaptations. The screenplay was written by Ben Elton, Glenn Slater, and Charles Hart. The cast features Ben Lewis as the Phantom and Anna O'Byrne as Christine Daaé, alongside Simon Gleeson, María Mercedes, Sharon Millerchip, and Emma J. Hawkins. This co-production involving Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States was produced by Clayton Jacobsen, Brett Sullivan, and Andrew Lloyd Webber.
