360 is a drama built around a chain of interconnected encounters that circle the globe. A British businessman on a trip abroad decides against a sexual encounter, and that choice sets off a series of events linking people in Vienna, Paris, London, Bratislava, Rio de Janeiro, Denver and Phoenix. Among them are his wife, who is ending an affair; a Brazilian student in London; a recovering alcoholic searching for his daughter; a paroled sex offender; and a widower whose faith is tested. Their lives touch one another through the relationships and decisions they make.

The film is directed by Fernando Meirelles, his fourth feature after City of God, The Constant Gardener and Blindness, from a screenplay by Peter Morgan. It adapts Arthur Schnitzler's 1900 play La Ronde, whose linked-couples structure generated controversy for its sexual content. The large ensemble includes Rachel Weisz, Jude Law, Ben Foster, Anthony Hopkins, Moritz Bleibtreu and Gabriela Marcinková, with 26 credited cast members overall.

Released in July 2012, the film took in about 2 million dollars worldwide, a modest return for an international production. On IMDb it holds 6.1 out of 10 from roughly 18,000 votes, while on TMDB it has 5.7 out of 10 from around 309 votes. Both figures point to a mixed response from viewers rather than strong enthusiasm.
