Man About Town

Man About Town follows Jack Giamoro, a successful Hollywood talent agent whose life appears settled until two problems arrive at once. He learns that his wife Nina is involved with one of his most important clients, and a reporter takes his private journal, which contains material that could damage both his marriage and his career. Jack sets out to recover the journal and hold on to what he has built.

Ben Affleck plays Jack, with Rebecca Romijn as Nina, John Cleese as Dr. Primkin, the writing teacher whose class leads Jack to keep the diary, Adam Goldberg, Bai Ling, Gina Gershon and director Mike Binder among the credited cast of 42. Binder wrote and directed the film, which followed his 2005 release The Upside of Anger and came before Reign Over Me in 2007. It runs 96 minutes and combines comedy, drama and romance.

The film had a limited commercial impact, with worldwide box office of about 1 million US dollars. On TMDB it holds a rating of 5.2 out of 10 from 152 votes, a modest audience response that suggests the film found only a small viewership.
