Find Me Guilty

Find Me Guilty is a crime drama built around the longest mafia trial in American history. After years of investigation, the federal government brought charges against twenty members of the Lucchese crime family. Jackie DiNorscio was already serving a thirty-year sentence when prosecutors offered him a deal: testify against the men he considered family and walk free early. He refused, and instead chose to represent himself in court, despite having no legal training. His decision to take on his own defense, and his combative, unruly style in the courtroom, turned a vast prosecution into an unpredictable contest between one defendant and the government.

Sidney Lumet directed and co-wrote the film with T.J. Mancini and Robert J. McCrea. It was the twenty-fifth of the twenty-six features Lumet directed in his career, arriving between Strip Search and Before the Devil Knows You're Dead. Vin Diesel plays DiNorscio, heading a cast of thirty credited performers that includes Alex Rocco, Ron Silver, Peter Dinklage, Linus Roache and Frank Pietrangolare. The film had a budget of 13 million USD and took about 3 million USD worldwide.

Audience responses were moderately positive: on IMDb it holds 7 out of 10 from 38,000 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 6.5 out of 10 from 569 votes. A critics' rating of 6.1 out of 10 from 103 reviews places it close to the audience scores.
