What's left behind the scenes
- The film's title is taken from a magazine of the same name, which was entirely dedicated to science fiction and was immensely popular in the 1940s and 1950s. The magazine was published every two months, and Howard Browne became its editor in January 1950.
- Originally, the story of 'Batteries Not Included' was used in a series, but its creator, Steven Spielberg, liked it so much that he decided to make a feature film out of it. The eponymous film, produced by Spielberg and directed by Matthew Robbins, was released in 1987.
- The episodes "The Mission," "Go to the Board," and "Daddy Mummy" were combined into a single film titled "Storie incredibili" for release in Italy. The film hit screens on June 19, 1987.
