What's left behind the scenes
- Executive producer and series creator Tim Kring was initially reluctant to cast Jill Hennessy as the impulsive Jordan Cavanaugh, as he only knew her from her roles as Assistant District Attorney Claire Kinkaid in 'Law & Order' (1990–) and Jackie Kennedy in the TV movie 'Lady of New Camelot' (2001). Kring decided to have breakfast with her, but the restaurant where he scheduled the meeting turned out to be closed. Kring began to apologize, but the actress interrupted him and said somewhat brusquely that they could have breakfast somewhere else. Her demeanor convinced Kring that she would be very natural in the role of Jordan.
