What's left behind the scenes
- The drunkard is named Wendell Bacchus. In ancient mythology, Bacchus is the god of vegetation, wine, and revelry.
- There was a joke on set that Pascal Hutton (who played Rosemary) should be given pre-written lines; otherwise, she would improvise them herself and talk incessantly (just like her character).
- In March 2019, Lori Loughlin, who played Abigail Stanton, was accused of bribery to get her children into university. On March 14 of the same year, the Hallmark channel announced that it would no longer work with the actress and suspended filming on all projects involving her. This led to delays in already scheduled shoots. Shortly thereafter, channel management ordered that Loughlin's character be cut from the remaining episodes of Season 6.
- Erin Krakow (who played Elizabeth Thornton) constantly managed to break or smash something on the set. For example, when she tried to open a locked door, the doorknob would break off and remain in her hand.
- Starting from the second season, the titles of almost all episodes included the word "Heart"; in the fourth season, this practice was extended to every single episode without exception.
