Unicorns

A hardworking single father named Luke meets Aysha, a seductive drag queen, at an underground nightclub. After an initial romantic encounter, Luke discovers Aysha's identity, leading both characters to navigate an unconventional relationship. As they deal with a clash of cultures, they are forced to confront their personal truths and question their own identities.

The drama and romance was directed by Sally El Hosaini, following her 2022 film The Swimmers, and co-directed by James Floyd, who also wrote the screenplay. The film stars Ben Hardy as Luke and Jason Patel as Aysha, with supporting roles played by Sagar Radia, Michael Karim, Nisha Nayar, and Hannah Onslow. A total of 24 actors are credited in the production, which was a collaborative effort between companies from Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Sweden.
