Reno 911!: Miami

Reno 911!: Miami follows a group of small-town Nevada sheriff's deputies who travel to Miami Beach for a national police convention during spring break. When a terrorist attack hits the gathering, the visiting officers find themselves the only law enforcement left to respond, since the local authorities are incapacitated. Led by Lieutenant Jim Dangle, the mismatched squad attempts to handle the crisis despite its limited competence.

The film is based on the Comedy Central television series and was directed by Robert Ben Garant, who also appears in the cast as Deputy Travis Junior. It is the second of the two features he directed in 2007, following Balls of Fury. The screenplay was written by Garant, Thomas Lennon and Kerri Kenney, who also star as Lieutenant Dangle and Deputy Trudy Wiegel. The main cast includes Carlos Alazraqui, Mary Birdsong and Wendi McLendon-Covey, with a credited ensemble of 64 performers. Danny DeVito, Michael Shamberg and Stacey Sher served as producers.

Made for about 10 million dollars, the film took in roughly twice that amount worldwide. On IMDb it holds a rating of 5.9 from around 29,000 votes, while on TMDB it has a 5.8 from 284 votes. A critics' score of 5 out of 10 from 100 reviews places it close to the audience ratings.
