My Fault, originally titled Culpa mía, follows Noah, a proud and independent seventeen-year-old who must leave her city, her boyfriend and her friends behind when her mother Rafaela marries the wealthy William Leister. Moving into his luxurious mansion, Noah resists her new surroundings, and the arrival of her stepbrother Nick brings an immediate clash between two strong personalities. The Spanish production mixes drama, romance and thriller elements, with Nicole Wallace and Gabriel Guevara leading a credited cast of twenty-seven that includes Marta Hazas, Iván Sánchez, Eva Ruiz and Víctor Varona.
The film was released in June 2023 and runs 116 minutes. It is the first feature directed by Domingo González, who also wrote the screenplay; he went on to direct Your Fault in 2024 and Our Fault in 2025, making this the opening entry of a chronological series. Reception splits along a clear line. On IMDb, the film holds a rating of 6.1 out of 10 from roughly 43,000 votes, while on TMDB it rates 7.7 out of 10 from more than four thousand votes. A critics' score of 4.2 out of 10 from seven reviews sits well below the audience figures, suggesting that viewers responded to the film far more warmly than professional reviewers did.
