Almost Love

Almost Love is a romance film about the developing bond between two contrasting students in a small town. Zhou Can, a quiet and academically gifted boy from a large city, struggles to adapt to his new environment and longs to return home. He finds it difficult to socialize until he meets Yu Jiao Yang, a cheerful and energetic girl who struggles with her schoolwork. Despite their opposite personalities and academic standings, the two form a deep friendship and support each other through various challenges.

The film was directed by Luo Luo, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Zhai Pei. The production features a credited cast of 24, led by Li Wenhan as Zhou Can and Xu Ruohan as Yu Jiaoyang. Other appearing actors include Wang Bowen, Gao Qiuzi, Ke Lan, and Li Dianzun. Released in China on August 4, 2022, the movie has a runtime of 110 minutes.
