One Second Ahead, One Second Behind

This romantic comedy drama takes place in Kyoto, Japan, and focuses on the relationship between Hajime and Reika. Hajime is a direct young man who works at a post office and typically reacts faster than those around him. In contrast, Reika is a woman who generally moves at a slower pace than others. The central conflict emerges after Valentine's Day, when Hajime wakes up with no memory of the events that occurred during that day.
