Norwegian Dream

A nineteen-year-old Polish man named Robert moves to the coast of Norway to work at a fish processing plant and earn money to pay off his mother's debts. While working, he falls in love with Ivar, an openly gay man who is also the adopted son of the factory owner. Robert keeps his feelings a secret to avoid judgment from his fellow Polish immigrant coworkers. The conflict intensifies when Ivar supports the workers in organizing a strike for better conditions, forcing Robert to choose between his financial obligations to his family and his romantic feelings for Ivar.

The drama and romance film was directed by Leiv Igor Devold and written by Justyna Bilik. It stars Hubert Miłkowski in the role of Robert and Karl Bekele Steinland as Ivar, supported by a cast including Edyta Torhan, Øyvind Brandtzæg, Jakub Sierenberg, and Izabella Dudziak. The production was a collaboration between companies from Germany, Norway, and Poland.
