Short description
At the height of summer, 18-year-old Cécile is relaxing by the French seaside with her father and falling in love with her new boyfriend. The arrival of her late mother's enigmatic friend turns her world upside down.

- Director, screenwriter, and producer Durga Chu-Bose did not immediately find a suitable background for the credits. Among the options she rejected were watercolors inspired by John Cassavetes' dramatic thriller "Gloria" (1980), and sketches from Anna's notebook (played by Chloë Sevigny).
