Kanto Street Peddlers is an action drama about the clash between a group of street vendors and a coalition of Yakuza leaders. The story focuses on Masaru Kokubun, an impulsive and stubborn member of a peddler clan led by an elderly boss. As the vendors maintain their way of life, they find themselves in a violent struggle against the combined forces of several criminal bosses.

It follows Suzuki's earlier works, Ninja's Mark and Red Peony Gambler: Gambler's Obligation, and precedes Kanto Street Peddlers: Clan Violent Loyalty. The screenplay was written by Akira Murao. The movie stars Bunta Sugawara as Masaru Kokubun, alongside a large ensemble of 45 credited cast members, including Kyōsuke Machida, Tatsuo Terashima, Toshiaki Minami, Kanjūrō Arashi, and Hiroko Sakuramachi.
