Two Sisters

Two estranged half-sisters travel from Warsaw to Kharkiv to find their father, who has been seriously wounded in Ukraine. As they navigate the war-torn landscape by car, train, and on foot, they encounter local residents and witness the devastation of the conflict. Their journey takes a dangerous turn when they accidentally cross the front line into Russian-occupied territory. Through these shared hardships, the sisters attempt to reconcile their relationship and rediscover their family bonds.

Directed and co-written by Łukasz Karwowski, this drama was a joint production between Poland and Ukraine involving Canal+ Polska, FILM.UA Group, and ZoomMedia.
