Doo-hyeon and Jeong-in meet in Nagoya during a major earthquake, fall in love, and marry. Seven years later, the marriage has soured. Jeong-in remains attractive and successful, while Doo-hyeon feels worn down by her constant criticism and has quietly decided he wants out. Lacking the nerve to ask for a divorce, he manoeuvres for an escape instead and requests a transfer to another city. Jeong-in follows him and moves into his hotel room. At his wits' end, Doo-hyeon turns to his neighbour, the notorious womaniser Seong-ki, and asks him to seduce his wife, hoping she will then be the one to demand a divorce.
This 2012 Korean comedy is directed by Min Kyu-dong, who wrote the screenplay with Heo Sung-hye. Lee Sun-kyun plays Doo-hyeon, Lim Soo-jung plays Jeong-in and Ryu Seung-ryong plays Seong-ki, with Lee Kwang-soo, Kim Jung-tae and Lee Sung-min among the credited cast of 21. It is the earliest of three films by Min listed here, ahead of The Treacherous and The Old Woman with the Knife.
On IMDb the film's rating is not recorded; on TMDB it holds 6.6 out of 10 from 53 votes, a small sample suggesting a modest but generally favourable response.
