Just Married

Just Married follows Tom Leezak, who works nights reading traffic reports on a radio station, and Sarah McNerney, an art expert from a wealthy Beverly Hills family. The two meet by chance, fall for each other quickly, and marry despite the reservations of Sarah's snobbish relatives. They set off for a honeymoon in Italy expecting a romantic trip, but a run of accidents and misfortunes turns the journey into a disaster. Sarah's former boyfriend, Peter Prentiss, also turns up, adding further strain to a relationship that the couple's families never fully supported, and the newlyweds find their young marriage tested almost as soon as it has begun.

Shawn Levy directed the film, the third of the seventeen features he has made, arriving between Cheaper by the Dozen and Night at the Museum. Sam Harper wrote the screenplay, and Robert Simonds produced. Ashton Kutcher and Brittany Murphy play Tom and Sarah, with Christian Kane as Peter, alongside David Moscow, Monet Mazur and David Rasche among a credited cast of thirty-one.
