Jackass Number Two

Jackass Number Two brings the crew behind the Jackass television series back to the screen for a second feature-length collection of stunts, pranks and sketches, with Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Ryan Dunn and Jason "Wee Man" Acuña appearing as themselves. There is no storyline to follow; the film strings together set pieces in which the performers subject one another to dangerous and unpleasant ordeals, escalating what came before. Jeff Tremaine directs, having made the first Jackass film in 2002; he returned for this 2006 sequel and went on to direct the follow-ups Jackass 2.5, Jackass 3D and Jackass 3.5, among other films.

Spike Jonze, Knoxville and Tremaine wrote and produced. The production involved a large credited cast and crew and was made for about 12 million USD, going on to take roughly 85 million USD worldwide, a strong return on its cost. On IMDb it holds 7 out of 10 from around 83,000 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 6.6 out of 10 from about 1,300 votes. A film critics' rating of 6 out of 10 from 101 reviews places it broadly in line with how audiences have received it.
