Artificial Justice

Set in the near future, this science fiction thriller follows a government plan to replace human judges with artificial intelligence software to automate the legal system. Carmen Costa, a respected judge, is asked to evaluate the new technology. However, the death of the software's creator leads Costa to suspect a conspiracy involving high-ranking state officials who wish to control the country through the judiciary. She must navigate these dangerous interests to uncover the truth and stop the system from being implemented.

The film was directed by Simón Casal, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Víctor Sierra. It is a joint production between Spain and Portugal, involving production companies Tornasol Films, Ukbar Filmes, and Abano Producións.
