Ashes

A wealthy married woman finds her stable existence disrupted after she discovers an unpublished book. As she reads the mysterious story, she experiences a revival of buried emotions that leads her from a state of fantasy into a dangerous romantic affair. This new connection eventually shatters the image of the happy family life she had built with her husband.

This Turkish drama and romance was directed by Erdem Tepegöz and written by Erdi Işık. It marks the first film directed by Tepegöz in a chronology that includes Summer House.
