House of Ga'a

Set during the peak of the Oyo Empire, this historical action film follows Bashorun Ga'a, a ruthless prime minister who seeks absolute power. Through his ambition and cruelty, he manages to become more influential than the kings he helps place on the throne. However, his dominance eventually leads to his downfall when he is betrayed by his own family.

The movie was directed by Bolanle Austen-Peters and was the first in a sequence of films that includes Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti. Produced by BAP Productions in Nigeria, the project features a screenplay by Tunde Babalola. The ensemble cast includes Femi Branch in the lead role as Bashorun Ga'a, alongside Mike Afolarin, Funke Akindele, Femi Adebayo, Ibrahim Chatta, and Toyin Abraham.
